Where a road or trail crosses a channel, Slater builds the concrete. We take the structural concrete on bridge and crossing projects: footings, abutments, wingwalls, bent caps and short-span slab decks, working under agency inspection from the first footing to the approach slab.

Who hires us
General contractors bring us in for the concrete package on bridge and road jobs. Public agencies and flood control districts hire us for crossings over their channels. Developers use us when a new tract needs a crossing at its entry.
How we run the work
Bridges are inspected at every step, and we plan for it: pre-pour checklists, rebar ready for inspection before it’s needed, and pours scheduled with the inspector and the prime. Our own crews and equipment mean the concrete doesn’t wait on someone else’s schedule.
